You should be doing all the above activities throughout your day and utilizing the techniques at every opportunity. Be careful that you don’t get stuck at the one word level. It is very reinforcing to do a less difficult activity since your child responds to well to it and uses single words! If you are finding it difficult to use all the techniques all day long, start with the sit down structured activities. After a few days, add on one or two activities in your house you can use these techniques with. Soon, they will be second nature.
