TECHNICAL SCHOOL
While you don’t really need to know any of the technical stuff related to your child’s hearing loss in order to help him learn to talk, there is occasionally some technical information that can help you really appreciate the lessons and understand the techniques better. The Technical School section of the EVDC website gives you an overview of some of the topics that are too technical to include in the main part of the website.
Firstly, don’t worry if you don’t understand everything that is presented under this section! It is enough if it gives you some familiarity with the concepts.
Secondly, if you find something interesting but can’t understand fully, use the Forum to discuss it with other parents.
Don’t underestimate the power of working together and helping each other!
